<description>Today I have a small quiz for my non-Japanese friends. I want you to translate two sentences I read aloud into English. Here are the sentences in roma-ji.

1) Konna ni nagai hashi ha ima made ni mita koto ga nai yo.
2) Konna ni nagai hashi ha ima made ni mita koto ga nai yo.

Yes, those sentences look exactly the same when they are written in roma-ji, but they are different when pronounced. OK, please listen carefully and ganbatte ne!

<title>Touhoku（東北）
</title>
<link>http://www.voiceblog.jp/kyoko_desu/221385.html
</link>
<description>I recorded how I say &quot;Touhoku&quot; for koo-chan.

東北(Touhoku)
東北の人たち(Touhoku no hitotachi)
東北地方(Touhoku Chihou)
東北新幹線(Touhoku Shinkansen)

Since I didn't pronounce the English parts very well, I think I should write down what I wanted to say there.

What I wanted to explain about was the position of the stress. It should be on the 1st syllable, but not on the 2nd one.

koo-chan, you already did an excellent job, but please practice this, then your Nihongo will be even better ^_^
