Dwelling in God's House (5-6)
A psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, / he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. (1-3a) He guides me in paths of righteousness / for his name's sake. Even though I walk / through the valley of the shadow of death, / I will fear no evil, / for you are with me; / your rod and your staff, / they comfort me. (3b-4) You prepare a table before me / in the presence of my enemies. / You anoint my head with oil; / my cup overflows. (5) Surely goodness and love will follow me / all the days of my life, / and I will dwell in the house of the LORD / forever. (6)

Summary
Our places of work and study can be very challenging at times, not unlike a battlefield. We can endure difficult times if we have a place where we can go to recharge and regain our strength.This "place" is not necessarily a physical place, but it is where we can find people who love and accept us. For some of us, this is not something we find here on earth. God promises that he will provide the perfect home for our souls if we invite him into our lives.

メッセージのポイント
仕事や学びの場は時に戦場のように過酷です。しかし、帰ればリラックスできる場所があるなら、そこで疲れはいやされ、力を得て再び戦場に出てゆく勇気が与えられられます。それは暖炉のある居間や、リクライニングできるカウチのことではありません。本当に必要なのは、疲れ切ったあなたのことを優しく受け入れてくれる人がいる場所です。私たちは家庭をそのような場所にしたいと願っていますが、なかなか難しいことです。けれども、たとえあなたを待っているのが誰もいない空っぽの部屋だったとしても、あなたが神様をあなたの心に迎え入れるなら、あなたの魂は「完全な我が家」を手に入れたことになるのです
